This was our third Show at Portchester after 32 years at
The Southsea Show
(which has now been replaced with a smaller show on the Castle Field). Entries were
slightly up on
last year with 93 blooms, 38 pots and 3 hanging pots. It was generally
agreed that standards were higher. The only disappointment was the small
attendance especially on the Sunday, probably due to extremely hot and sunny
weather
after our poor early summer. |
