Vincent Potts continued his success of recent shows and again proved himself to be a pot grower of repute, winning the 6, 3 and single pot classes as well as best pot with Mrs E McLaughlan.  Cut-blooms were of a generally good standard with the main prize for the 6 blooms going to Mark Richardson, proving that he is now a cut bloom grower who will win many prizes in the coming years.  Best Bloom went to Denis Hague for yet another lovely Fred Martin. This old variety still takes some beating when grown well, and appears to have survived the heat very well.
